א‎-Frame, or A-Frame, is a contemporary take on the Sukkah, a temporary structure built for use during the week-long Jewish festival of Sukkot. In biblical explanation, Sukkot is a celebration of the harvest & commemoration of the Israelites' journey through the desert. א‎-Frame was shared with the community in the celebration of this tradition, all coming together to bring in the Jewish new year. The collaborators on this project were: Aaron Goldstein, Lieyah Dagan, Spenser Atlas.

The schach is the “living matter” that lies across the top of the structure, an important aspect to the sukkah for both overhead protection and access to a starry sky at night above. א‎-Frame's schach acted as a living wall and roof, and when the frame was erected, a zig-zag string held foliage in place.

Paper chain designs originate from personal stencil book drawings.

Aaron sets up the blessing for the sukkah using golf-tee’s.
